The vehicle, which weighs no more than an ounce, was intercepted over the nation’s capital on July 6, sources say. It so eerily resembles a small flying insect that experts suspect it was designed that way as camouflage. “The vehicle is equipped with highly advanced sensors and apparently was on a scientific or surveillance mission,⠀ reveals an Air Force insider. “At first we assumed it was a remote-controlled drone. But when the ‘flying bug,’ as it’s been nicknamed, was dismantled, we found the indentation left behind by a pilot’s seat — indicating a small alien ejected from the craft. “We’re talking about a man-like creature no bigger than a garden ant. Equally fascinating, an analysis of fuel cells indicates that the craft could travel a maximum of 60,000 miles. “That would mean its point of origin must be within our own solar system, the insider explains. “That suggests an undiscovered 10th planet — perhaps one so small that it has never been detected by astronomers. The UFO was discovered over Washington after triggering a highly classified new defense system. Air Force planes quickly took to the air to escort the damaged craft as it gradually lost power and fell to the ground on the lawn in front of the White House. The bug-like spaceship has reportedly been whisked to Area 51 in Nevada — the famous “top secret base where the Air Force supposedly conducts research on downed UFOs and plunders captured alien technology. “Researchers will use what’s known as ‘reverse engineering’ to unlock technological secrets of the alien space probe, says the source. Civilian experts say the implications of such a find are mind-blowing. “For centuries, scientists have pondered the possibility of an unseen planet in our solar system — perhaps on the far side of the Sun, notes British astronomer Colin Mugwhite of London, when asked about the case. “The idea that there is a planet out there the size of a 12-foot boulder and inhabited by minuscule intelligent life forms is even more intriguing. Government scientists have tentatively dubbed the theoretical planet Lilliputia in honor of the tiny folk encountered in Jonathan Swift’s classic novel, Gulliver’s Travels.
