Interview with William Henry
by Jane Magee copyright 2007
Synchronicity is an amazing occurrence! This past summer, one of my best friends took me to the Sci-fi Café in Burlington, Wisconsin. There I met Mary and
Brad Sutherland.
We hung out that afternoon and went on the Enchanted Woods tour that evening with Mary and Brad. It was amazing, but another story altogether!
When I returned to my home in Arizona, I would (and still do) check Mary and Brad’s website often. I noticed that Mary went to the Temple of Sakkura event
in Michigan in August. I read the article and looked at the pictures. There was a gentleman named William Henry who attended and a link to his website. Out of
curiosity, I followed the link and read about him and what he’s doing. He is an investigative mythologist, author, radio talk show host, seeker and teacher. After
reading that he resides in Nashville, I thought it interesting because I spent a lot of time there in my teens and though not so much since. You see, my aunt lived there
for over 30 years. I was curious to see where he was going to be, so I checked out his events section and found out he would be coming to Tempe, Arizona (near
where I live) in November for the “Shh! It’s a Secret! Not on the 6 O’Clock News Conference. So, of course, I followed that link and discovered
there was an amazing line up of people who would be speaking at that event. Wow! What an opportunity! I made the decision to attend. I shared with Mary that I
was going and looking forward to hearing William Henry as well as the others. It was then that she asked me to do an interview with William. I said sure even though
I’ve never done this before, unless you count teaching second and third graders interview writing skills. As a result of all this synchronicity, I respectfully submit
my first interview.
The “Shh! It’s a Secret! Not on the 6 O’Clock News Conference began on Friday, November 16th, evening and ended on Sunday, November
18th, evening. Though I saw William Henry on Friday evening, I didn’t have an opportunity to introduce myself to him until Saturday. He was very gracious and
agreed to do the interview on Sunday.
Later, I attended both his talk and his workshop. It was very interesting the way he made connections between ancient mysteries and modern times. Gave one pause
to ponder.
It wasn’t until mid afternoon on Sunday that we were able to connect. We sat down on a comfy couch in the lobby area of the hotel. Though I didn’t think I
was nervous, I blurted out that I had never done this before, and William put me at ease by asking me about myself.
The Interview
Jane: What would you like to share with people right now?
William: I would like people to know that the power of imagery is far greater than we realize. We need to focus on images and thoughts through our hearts, rather
than through fear.
Jane: What will you be doing next?
William: I will be doing a lot of traveling. I’m going to Egypt again for the Egyptian spiritual mysteries. (He is doing The Light Body Effect workshop in Santa
Monica, CA
the weekend of Dec. 1&2, and he’s leading a Stargate Eygpt tour January 13-24, 2008. He’s also doing a sacred sites tour of England and Scotland next
summer and a conference in Nashville next April.)
Jane: You have traveled all over the world in your quest, what are your favorite places?
William: The first is Rennes-le-Chateau, France. Another is Abados, Egypt. It is one of the oldest pilgrimage sites.
Jane: What is it about those places? Do you feel past life connections?
William: I don’t feel any past life connection with either place. I do feel a mysterious connection to Rennes-le-Chateau, France, and a strong connection to Egypt,
but especially to Abados.
Although this interview was short, I thank William for taking time out of his busy conference schedule to do it.
