so does this mean i can get a sweet present of my girlfriend next left handed day, i will guilt her of all the difficulties my left handed ancestors had to face, one of them was burnt at the stake, for being a “witch” another was forced to write with the right hand… and left handed day is to remember them and honour them by buying presents for your favourite lefty. another fact i might add, left handed people are 4 times as likely to save the entire human race… unless you can prove me wrong thats fact.

I am Left Handed and people always make fun of me.

I heard that left handed people are smarter and i think that is true. HAHA
In one of the facts it says that they can draw 3-D
    better and I totally can!!
Left Handed is sooooo much fun!!

  6. Kirby says:

I am left handed as well, I completly believe that being a lefty is a gift, I have learned that of the right handed people (that I have met) I am more able to accomplish more tasks than them. It is true however that I suffer from that supid dyslexia, my hand/eye cordination is very well, but my focus.(when I was in school) looking at a piece of paper to the chaulk board sucked, it took me a little longer to focus in. I do greatly agree that lefties are way better mnulti-taskers than righties. And I wonder how many lefties like me have a problem with cutting with right handed scissors? and I wonder how many lefters right hand is really only good for there balance? appart from throwing a baseball my right hand can not do a whole lot.lol

  7. Lu says:

I’m part of the statistics of children who were left handed and were forced to use their right hand insted. All my childhood I thought that there was something wrong with me because that’s the way my family made me feel. As a matter of fact, this has been afecting my whole life. Perhaps, this is the reason why I’m too shy and I’m afraid to speak up. My communication skills are bad and it is hard for me to socialize. Is hard to me to focus and learn new things.
I guess I can’t blame my parents because they were ignorant, but sometimes I do and I blame myself too because I was very scared of them. Though, I haven’t lost my ability to write with my left hand but I’m very slow. I just hope that when I have my own children at least one of them be a left handed!

    muaha i’m left-handed and i’m a girl.
i really really like tennis. :D
i love music and art, not so much mathematics…
i had no idea so little of our population was left handed, i thought it’d be like 20%?
i’m always the only one in all my classes at school that’s left-handed, and usually people don’t notice until halfway through the school year.
i wasn’t forced to write with my right hand, but my mom was; she’s originally a leftie, and now she eats with her left hand but writes with her right hand.
also, the Left-Hander’s Day is my mom’s birthday. :D that is so cool.

  9. Riah says:

Im left handed and a girl and both of my parents are right handers.I had alot of trouble at school with being a leftie.I remember in kindergarten my teacher grabbed my pencil out of my left hand and made me write with my right.I refused to use my right tho thru every grade.Im still a leftie and proud.i get teased but just come back with the whole lefties are the only ones in their right mind thing and it usually shuts people up.I have amazing hand eye cordination.Ive also found the abilities thing to be true as well.Knowing things before they happen and anything to do with maps.I always know wich roads to take so we wont hit traffic.I think in 3d.but im not good at math.music is my life.i sing and i can play the keyboard wich i learned in a week.i can hear a song once and know every word and sometimes i can tell what they will say before they sing it.i think all of that has to do with being a leftie.seriously leftie abilities need to be studied more.i think it would be amazing what they’d find.
