MY HOUSE IS HAUNTED!

I currently live in a house located in Cape Coral, Florida.  We have noticed several things that we could not explain why they happened.

It started about 3 years ago.  We noticed lights going on and off without the switch moving.  I kept seeing a shadow of a little girl standing in between both kids room.  
Primarily she would be in the bigger room where most of the toys are.

One night I was asleep and woke up to the fire alarm going off.  Our fire alarm is set by a red beam that shoots across a very fine space and when something blocks it, it
goes off.  Well, nothing was blocking it.  We did not cook anything that night, so it was not any steam or anything.  I looked over in the hall as I turned off the lights to go
back to bed and I saw her there.

Finally, I sat down in the dark and asked her why she was here.  Mentally I knew the answer, she was lonely.  I asked her why she did some of the things that she does.  
Again, my mind told me that she wanted to play and she missed her mommy.  That her mommy has not yet crossed over.  I asked her to stop making so much noise at
night.

After that, we have not heard much from her.  But from time to time we see the cats being chased by something and spooked when they were sleeping.  We know.

One night, when the children were staying the weekend at their father's, my girlfriend and I went into the toy room because we heard a toy running.  The kids had not been
there for 2 days and there was a big robot walking around.  It runs by batteries.  The on button is very hard to push up, so we know the cats could not do it.

I have another situation!

When I sleep.  I see things and hear things in my sleep that I can not explain as well.  One night an old man from World War I came to me and used my mind to find his
wife that was on the other side.  The next night he thanked me in my dream.  Everyone tells me that they are just dreams.  Except my mother.  She used to be the same
way.  She has an Indian watching over her.

Could you help me sort a few things out.

There is no history that I know of.  I have not tried to take pictures.

Another thing she likes to do is...When I look at the shadow and I stand up, the shadow grows with me.  Another form of her playing around.

This house is only 8-10 years old.  However, I don't know much about the land.


What do you think is going on with my dreams.

I am half awake and half asleep.  I can not fall deep asleep because I can hear them.
The only way I can sleep is by putting a pillow over my ears to block them out.
Actually, feather pillows work the best.
