Ignatius Donnelly's theories are the basis for much of the Atlantis belief today.
Author of the 1882 "Atlantis: the Antediluvian World", Donnelly found critics even
among his closest friends, being that he lacked scientific evidence . Today , we now
have the evidence to support his work. This evidence comes in the form of an
Atlantean bust, shown in photo to the right, along with numerous artifacts , ancient
script and hieroglyphs that were found at the location of our exploration. .
The photo to the right is of an 80 pound bust that was found in Kentucky, depicting
an ancient serpent priest . (Click the red banner to view a slide show Mary
Sutherland created in order for you to view all angles of this magnificent artifact. )
Note: What looks like hair , is actually a head dress, starting with the head of the
serpent above his forhead then draping downwards , around his face .
Although somewhat difficult to see in this photo , the face has a full mustache .
