| This beautiful stone carved artifact was found by James Scott's son-in-law Chris near the temple area . Photo to left shows the Front side . The bottom photo shows what could be either a cat, panther or possibly a wolf engraved on its backside. This could be either a totem of the owner or representative of the owners clan. | Ignatius Donnelly's theories are the basis for much of the Atlantis belief today. Author of the 1882 "Atlantis: the Antediluvian World", Donnelly found critics even among his closest friends, being that he lacked scientific evidence . Today , we now have the evidence to support his work. This evidence comes in the form of an Atlantean bust, shown in photo to the right, along with numerous artifacts , ancient script and hieroglyphs that were found at the location of our exploration. . The photo to the right is of an 80 pound bust that was found in Kentucky, depicting an ancient serpent priest . | This artifact was found not far from the temple area. Although the top of the head has broken off, the rest of the statue seems to be in good condition. |
